Our story
Investment Properties is a family-run real estate management company based in Newton Centre, MA. Founded in 1985 by the late Jerome R. Dangel, Investment Properties has spent 37 years connected to the communities and neighborhoods of Boston. Betsy Dangel succeeded Jerome as President of the company in 1999. Betsy has continued to preserve the character and history of each building, while maintaining long-standing relationships with tenants, employees, and partners.

Our team
Personalized service and relationships are the foundation of our work. We have built our company and reputation by working hard and treating our tenants with respect. We maintain our properties to our exacting standards because we care about the longevity of each one. Our goal is for these buildings to continue to serve our communities for generations.

Betsy has served as President of Investment Properties since 1999.
Robert Walsh
Vice President
Rob began with Investment Properties in 1995. He oversees the day-to-day management of 23 residential and commercial properties in the greater Boston area.
Mario Tulipano
Supervisor
Mario supervises a staff of 6 full-time maintenance technicians. 95% of all maintenance is completed by his team. Mario has worked for the Dangel family in various capacities for over fifty years.

As a boutique management company having a presence in greater Boston neighborhoods, we believe in approaching our business holistically. We reinvest in our properties and have maintained a long-standing history with our residential and commercial tenants. Our IPL team as a company, has a combined tenure of more than a century.
